Article on Postgraduation for Students with Special Needs
The September, 2012, issue of District Administration Magazine featuers a story titled Postgraduation for Special Needs Students. The story, which includes the College Program for Students with Asperger's Syndrome, can be found atthis link.
The College Support Program for Students with Asperger Syndrome was developed in 2002, by the West Virginia Autism Training Center at Marshall University.
The program exists to offer appropriate academic, social and independent living skill supports to individuals with autism spectrum disorders, so that they may have a successful college experience and learn skills necessary to enter a competitive workforce.
